What is ZynView?
An independent Android app that connects your phone to a compatible Zontes dash over Wi-Fi and starts Android Auto on the dash, so you do not need a dongle or a permanently connected USB cable for the intended workflow.
Do I need a dongle or a cable?
No extra adapter is needed for the intended workflow. The phone and dash communicate over Wi-Fi.
Which Zontes models work?
It is verified on the Zontes 368G Enduro. Other dashes that show a Wi-Fi name and password QR code may work but are untested. See compatibility.
Does it work on the Zontes 368G?
It was verified on the 368G Enduro. Other 368G variants have not been individually confirmed; tell us what happens via contact.
Why do I have to start Android Auto’s head unit server?
Android Auto only runs in head unit mode when that developer option is on. ZynView acts as the head unit. It is off after the phone restarts.
Is it on Google Play?
Not currently. It is distributed as a direct APK from this website.
Is it safe to use while riding?
Do not operate your phone while riding. Set up and connect when stopped. You are responsible for riding safely and legally.
What data does it collect?
ZynView has no accounts and no analytics, and logs stay on your phone. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which can use your device’s advertising ID. See the privacy policy.
