Compatibility
ZynView has been verified on one motorcycle so far. This page says exactly what is tested, what is not, and what you need on the phone.
Check before you install. Compatibility depends on the motorcycle model, dash firmware, Android phone and Android Auto version. If your bike is not listed as verified, it may not work.
Motorcycles
| Dash | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Zontes 368G Enduro | Verified | Tested on a real bike: Android Auto projects to the dash. |
| Other Zontes dashes that show a Wi-Fi name and password QR code | Untested | Use the same connection method, so they may work. Not confirmed on hardware. |
| Dashes that use Wi-Fi Direct (for example the Zontes 350D) | Not supported | A different connection method that is not implemented yet. |
| Dashes that join the phone’s hotspot | Not supported | A different connection method that is not implemented yet. |

Phone
- Android 10 or newer on a 64-bit (arm64) phone, which covers nearly every phone sold in recent years.
- Android Auto installed and up to date, with Google Play services. Verified with Android Auto 17.9.
- Wi-Fi on. You do not need to join any network yourself; ZynView joins the dash.
- Tested on a Samsung Galaxy S25 running Android 16. Other phones are expected to work but have not been individually tested.
How the connection works
The dash shows a QR code for its own Wi-Fi hotspot. ZynView joins it, then runs Android Auto’s head unit mode on the phone and sends the picture to the dash. This is why Android Auto’s developer “head unit server” must be turned on.
ZynView is independent software. A dash firmware or Android Auto update can change behaviour, so a bike that works today may need an app update later.
